Just a day after his arrest on assault charges, Chris Brown has released a new song.
The R&B singer posted What Would You Do? to his SoundCloud account Wednesday night, tweeting, "MUSIC!!!!" and a link to the track. The upbeat, house-influenced song touches on themes of love and commitment, although its chorus — "What do you do, fighting for your life and no one's on your side?" — could be read differently in light of his recent legal woes.

Brown, 27, was arrested at his Tarzana, Calif., home Tuesday after a woman claimed he had threatened her with a gun earlier in the day. He was released that night after posting $250,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County jail records.
Last week, the troubled artist released the music video for Grass Ain't Greener, the lead single off his upcoming eighth studio effort, Heartbreak on a Full Moon. No release date has been set for the album, which he announced in May.
